Eric Zernich

Eric attended The Ohio State University receiving his degree with honors in Atmospheric Science. During his junior and senior years he performed weekly 2-minute weather updates for the school's television channel, Buckeye TV. Eric also would send out a daily weather email to over 350 people every morning during his senior year as Doppler EZ. The summer before his senior year of college, Eric interned for WXIX Fox19 in Cincinnati. Eric helped the weather team update the website and social media while creating weather graphics for the Inside the Forecast segment every evening. When Eric is not covering the latest weather storm he enjoys playing golf and running. Eric is a huge baseball fan, especially his hometown Cincinnati Reds. Riley Hale

Riley Hale joined the WXVT Weather Team in June 2015 as the morning meteorologist/Reporter on Delta Daybreak. Riley is a Georgia boy, graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in geography and atmospheric sciences. Before coming to the Delta he called Savannah, GA home, but has lived everywhere from Jacksonville, FL to London, England. Before his senior year, Riley interned with WSAV Storm Team 3 in Savannah, GA. While back at school he was responsible for performing a 2 minute weather segment twice a week for the student run TV station, Grady Newsource. In his free time Riley enjoys playing basketball, hunting, fishing, and watching his Georgia Bulldogs play on Saturday. Denise Turner

Denise Turner left reporting in Texas to tell stories in the Mississippi Delta. She is a News Reporter, Fill-in Anchor, Producer, and Weekend Forecaster. She comes to WXVT from KXVA in Abilene, Texas. While covering a wide variety of stories for the Fox station as a multi-media journalist, her favorite stories are stories that change people's lives. Denise Turner earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Columbia College Chicago. She is a proud member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ).
