Melanie Symone’ Dotson is an energetic journalist who loves connecting with people in and around the community. Upon applying for college, she honed her passion for speaking as an actress in community plays and public speaking events with churches and schools.

Kandace Redd

Kandace K. Redd is a TV News Anchor, Reporter, and Producer at WXVT-TV in Greenville, MS.
Before moving to the Mississippi Delta, she worked as a News Apprentice for CBS News WBZ-TV 4 in Boston, MA. There, she took on the responsibilities as a Production Assistant, Assignment Editor, TV News Writer, and Associate Producer for the Morning News Show at 4:30AM and 6AM.

Riley Hale

Riley Hale joined the WXVT Weather Team in June 2015 as the morning
meteorologist/Reporter on Delta Daybreak. Riley is a Georgia boy, graduating
from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in
geography and atmospheric sciences. Before coming to the Delta he called
Savannah, GA home, but has lived everywhere from Jacksonville, FL to London,
England.

Mike Uva

Mike Uva joined WXVT in April of 2015 as a weekend sports anchor and reporter. A New England native, Mike grew up in Peabody, Massachusetts. After graduating from Assumption College in Worcester, MA in 2014, Mike began working as correspondent for ESPNBoston.com, covering high school sports.

Full-time

The job is for one of the primary news anchors for the 5, 6, and 10pm weekday newscasts.  Applicant must be willing to contribute by reporting, shooting, and writing for these newscasts.  The job will require the anchor to serve as the primary producer for the 5, 6, and 10pm weekday news.
