Tuesday night, someone broke into the Salvation Army Family Store in Greenville.

Maj. Alan Phillips, commanding officer, thieves stole all of the TV's in the store along with other electronic equipment and an industrial fan. Thieves also took the store safe and laptop computer.

Items in the thrift store were not covered under the Salvation Army's insurance policy. The store is closed until further notice.

"The thieves didn't just steal from the store,” Phillips said. “They took away a daily ministry."

 He estimates the loss from having to close the store at about $1,500.
